Syvalla Washington began her ministry in 1979 and went on to make history in 1995 as the first female minister ordained by the First Born Church of the Living God, later serving as pastor, district leader, and being elevated to Overseer in 2003.
With over 35 years of service, multiple ministries established, formal biblical training, and an honorary doctorate, her life reflects deep commitment to faith and leadership.
Born in 1936, married to Ira Daniel Washington for over six decades, and the matriarch of a large family, she remains devoted to prayer and ministry even at age 89, known for her love for people and passion for winning souls.
